The Am Khas Kolhapuri is a celebration of authentic Kolhapuri tradition. Crafted from full-grain, vegetable-tanned buffalo leather, this Kolhapuri chappal represents the true heritage of Kolhapur. Each leather hide takes 15–22 days to tan using traditional methods preserved by the Dhor community of Kolhapur, and is then shaped into footwear by the skilled Chambhar community of Kolhapur.

It takes at least 2 days to handcraft a single pair, and as the intricacies increase, the premiumness increases — every braid, stitch and detail is done patiently by hand. No two pairs are perfectly alike, because the beauty of handmade lies in imperfection.
